'Her Vocal Highness' Tamy Moyo has been on the music scene for quite some time now. During her career she has made a name for herself and partnering with major artists and brands. Tamy is enjoying her seat at the top. She is currently swimming amongst the big dogs in the African music scene as she is nominated or her first AFRIMMA.

Here are a few things to know about the songstress.

She first got introduced in the music industry at the age of 7 and debuted her first album 'The 18th roller-coaster' at the age of 18 in the year 2016. The 6 track album saw her rising to fame and gaining immense support form fans. Tamy describes her sound as 'Afro-pop Fusion'

When she first started out she sung in the senior choir. At the age of 13, the young star was already performing alongside established musicians.

She is the daughter of Zimbabwean media personality Richard Kohola a.k.a DJ RK.

An opportunity many would love is to perform alongside legends in the music industry and globally at that. Tamy has performed in stages across the globe alongside the the late great Zimbabwean legend Oliver Mtukudzi. The songstress has also worked with Ammara Brown and Gemma Griffiths for 'The Tamy Experience.'

Earlier this year, she got featured on Africa's biggest music show, Coke Studio Africa and worked with Lourena Nhate from Mozambique, Abush Zeleke from Ethiopia and Zimbabwean producer Young DLC.

A hidden talent might be modelling, as she graced the cover of Vutha Magazine  in the June issue. 

Moyo is a ball of talent. Besides singing she is an inspirational vocalist, performer and musician, but she can also play the Guitar.

As part of her social work, Moyo uses her voice and is a supporter of social causes.  She is a board member for “The Dreams Project”, an organization that advocates for HIV and AIDS awareness in rural Zimbabwe.

Her work started as a Child Ambassador for ChildLine (Zimbabwe) in 2011, for 5 years. Just recently she was a guest speaker at the Angel of Hope Foundation speaking about her journey to young girls.
