Stop Questioning Khune's Age, Ok?

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has been trending for the wrong reasons [again], but he has since sent a strong message to his critics.

The Ventersdorp-born soccer star sent a warning shot to his critics about his age.

This comes after he posted a selfie of his grizzly beard, which made him appear older than he is.

Khune was unsure of what his best look was and shared on Twitter that he was contemplating whether he should remove the beard or not.

That was a bad move from his part because boy did he get roasted by social media trolls.

Tweeps have taken to social media to voice their opinions regarding Mzansi's number one goalkeeper's facial hair.

@KingZayoh was able to answer the question and said he should shave it

@Steve_Mekgoe served advice that seems Khune has since taken.

This is not the first time he's been ridiculed for his appearance; last year he suffered the same fate when he attempted the "Movember challenge" leaving his moustache unshaved.

He joined the Movember Campaign by growing his moustache during November to raise awareness of men's health issues which pertain to prostate cancer, testicular cancer &  mental health problems.

Khune seems to be enjoying the attention he gets, be it positive or negative as people seem to be watching his every move.

In March, video footage of an intoxicated Khune was leaked on social media showing the Chiefs goalkeeper on a night out partying with friends.

The footage caused a stir online with fans split between being outraged at how drunk the soccer star appeared.

With football season still closed, fans can surely expect to be more entertained by Khune.
