The late Bheki Ntuli’s Son known as Nkululeko Ngcobo mysteriously died in September 2019. The 33 year old was found lifeless in his room in the Empangeni family house. The late Bheki Ntuli was a politician in South Africa.
In September 2019, he was chosen to serve as the KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transportation, Community Safety, and Liaison. He formerly presided over the portfolio committees for transportation, community safety, and liaison for three terms in a row.

Ntuli’s family however dismissed the allegations and pointed out that only the investigators would determine the cause of death of Ngcobo. It was unclear whether Ngcobo's death was as a result of a wound from a sharp object, a gun or any other weapon.
Speaking to Independent Media, the late Ntuli explained that his son could not have committed suicide. He told the media that Nkululeko was not having any social nor personal problem that would force him to kill himself.
The late politician also revealed that his son had received death threats before the incident. The death of Bheki Ntuli’s son took place just at the time he was chosen to serve as the KwaZulu –Natal MEC for Transportation.
Bheki Ntuli had a wife known as Snenhlanhla MaZulu Ntuli. During the senior citizens Women Empowerment and Gender-Based Violence Programme, MaZulu participated in distributing food to the needy.
Bheki Ntuli’s Political Life
Ntuli presided over the ANC in the Musa Dladla region for more than 15 years. Additionally, he led and participated in the ANC subcommittee on peace and stability for more than 20 years. Additionally, he presided over the council of the University of Zululand. He assisted youth organizations and community groups in a variety of community development programs.
The South African politician left a legacy in the South African transportation sector as noted in his eulogy. In order to foster a climate of peace and tolerance at the University of Zululand, Bheki Ntuli was crucial in bringing different student groupings together and fostering reconciliation.
He led the struggle against Covid-19, a disease that ravaged and devastated individuals in the province, the nation, the continent, and the world. He personally set up roadblocks to make sure commuters and drivers followed the Covid-19 regulations and standards.
In addition to bringing stability and practical answers to the difficult KZN taxi sector, which has been marred by murder for years, he made sure that his Department repaired the provincial road infrastructure. Under Hon. Ntuli's direction, public transportation also saw a significant improvement.
After Bheki Ntuli’s son had passed, his father followed after one year. Bheki Ntuli succumbed to Covid-19 complications in January 2021 at the Durban Hospital. The 63 year old was applauded for his work in the transport sector.
