Has the COVID 19 pandemic dug a hole in your pockets?
The entertainment industry remains the worse hit sector stemming from lockdowns and the ban on social gatherings.
Simply put, most of the celebs who relied on shows to make money have been hit financially.
Many artists have been forced to downgrade the expensive lives they used to flash on social media and survive like ordinary citizens.
For example, Rapper AKA even took to Twitter to announce that he is as broke as a Church mouse.
“Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. I am broke. Very very broke. I don’t have any money at all. Thanks” he tweeted.
Cassper Nyovest also tweeted that he is broke. He advised Mzansi celebrities to spend their money well during the pandemic.
DJ Maphorisa also lamented that he would die broke after lockdown got extended.
Also not to be left out is DJ Fresh who took to Twitter to announce that he had gone 4 months with no income!
But the financial crunch is not being felt by celebs only. Even ordinary citizens are affected.
