Pinky Girl Ventures Into DJ-ing

Is it just us, or are tweeps not very welcoming when a Zaleb branches out?

While the conversation about opening the industry is an important one and needs more attention, it just seems as though the public is oddly shady when people go for all the bags; but we see tweets about 'multiple streams of income' on our timelines almost everyday.

Recently, Pinky Girl - who we know and love on her cousin and media mogul Bonang Matheba's hit reality show Being Bonang - was dragged after a clip of the reality star, where she introduces herself as a DJ, went viral.

The comments section of the V-Entertainment tweet were abuzz, with some Twitter users calling out the channel for poor content and urging it to respect its viewers.

Another user called Pinky Girl "confused" and asked Bonang to sit her down and be honest with her because she isn't talented.

It seems Pinky had had an epiphany that morning because she had tweeted "Your dreams are valid" and later, when all the trolls dragged her, the tweet seemed like a befitting response.

She also did reply to the haters individually, letting them know that she, too, had to start somewhere and that black people always find something negative to say. She also re-assured her fans that she is not going to give up.

The reality star turned DJ isn't the only Zaleb who's been dragged for entering into the DJ-ing world. Dineo Ranaka, Lerato Kganyago and Thuli  Phongolo also come to mind.
