It is commonly known that the creative industry has a nasty reputation of some level of unprofessionalism and unregulated practices. Stories of artists dying broke or falling into a dark pit mainly caused by the mounting frustrations and unrealistic pressures from the industry, are enough to make parents fret a bit when their children hint at a preferred career in the Arts.

South African radio veteran, Linda Sibiya is allegedly in a tight spot, as reports of irregularities of millions of rands have been stabled to his name.

South Africa's most popular entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela broke the news on his timeline on Twitter. According to the post, Linda was awarded with various financial opportunities to enhance his arts academy and execution of a gospel concert, Spirit of Praise.

Allegedly, the former Ukhozi FM's broadcaster, was awarded with 12,5 million which was in part of a R100 million funding. The gospel concert ended up not coming into fruition.

In the post, it was indicated that Linda mentioned that the reasons for the break down of the concert, was because his partner was no longer alive thus failing to gain access to the funds.

Allegedly, Linda also received a whopping R8,5 million in May 2019 for his Arts academy.
