GALLERY: Nadia Nakai Finally Drops!

It's been a long time coming but Nadia Nakai has FINALLY dropped her debut album - NADAIA NAKED!

Fans have been begging Nadia (and her boss, Cassper Nyovest) to drop an album and they have finally been blessed with a completed project that officially drops today!

With the release of the lead single ‘Imma Boss’, Nadia broke the internet with the #NadiaNaked reveal, making the album one of the most anticipated releases in local hip hop of 2019.

Nadia has already had a stellar year with her Bragga merchandise collaboration with Redbat at Sportscene flying off the shelves. Her first official single off of the album released last month, "I'm A Boss", was welcomed to raving reviews from her fans.

The first lady of Family Tree shows us her vulnerable side on this album, a side that the rapper is not afraid to share with her fans. The album offers insight into her thought-processes and all the unanswered questions are now laid bare in the music. From club bangers to melodic collabs, the 17 track album is chocked full of instagramable captions for Nadia's fans.

What comes hard to me is being vulnerable, writing songs that hit home and are relatable. I want women to see themselves in the stories I tell, and I want to speak on different subjects, from a woman’s perspective. When you listen to my music it should feel like you are embodying me

But she obviously isn't alone. Her album sees local acts like fellow Family Tree squad members Tshego and Cassper, SAMA award winner Lady Zamar and the King of African Rap himself, Kwesta. Nadia also surprises fans with a feature from global chart topper from the UK, Stefflon Don!

Mzansi's biggest stars have come out to support the BRAGGA Queen on her next chapter. Swipe through the famous faces spotted at the Album release party last night:
