Zambia has some of the best artists that Southern Africa has to offer, with a rich culture of diverse music genres and plenty of artists to represent those genres, we also have talented women to match that diversity. These women have contributed immensely to the Zambian music scene and we appreciate them for it.

Euniy Kalos


This Lusaka based rapper, singer, poet and creative writer developed a love for music at a very young age, she participated as a performer and scriptwriter in school events since primary school. Euniy, whose real name is Eunike Kalonga, used to be a devoted church member and would usually join her neighbourhood’s street cyphers.

Tigress 347 


This skilled hip hop, rap, trap and reggaeton female rapper and songwriter hails from Lusaka, and was born in 1996. In her early years as a child, she fell in love with hip hop and would participate in freestyles while her twin sister would support her with choruses and singing.

Lanji


Zewelanji Sanga, better known as Lanji is a singer, songwriter and rapper from Lusaka Zambia. She is a talented star looking to take impact the world with her unique sound. She hopes to inspire people and communicate the about the power of love, self-confidence and belief in oneself to make their dreams become a reality.

Trina South


Trina South, also known as Katrina Sakala AKA Carol is a Zambian rapper and vocalist born in 1998, she came up with her nickname after being inspired by the name her grandmother used to call her, South girl. She has been on multiple songs like “Elevate”, “Weka”, “Tulo”, “Mwano”, “James” featuring Macky 2, and Love Me, featuring Shasha a South African/Zimbabwean artist.

Ruth Ronnie


The one and only 'Queen of the Dancehall' AKA Ruth Ronnie is a Zambian award-winning artist and TV Personality. Although her main genre is Dancehall, Ruth Ronnie is a very versatile singer/songwriter and live performer and her music is a unique fusion of Dancehall, Reggae, Afro-pop, R&B, Afro-soul and Trap-soul.

Natasha Chansa


Natasha Chansa AKA Princess Natasha Chansa is of Zambian royalty, her father being His Royal Highness Chief Kaputa of Kaputa in the Northern Province of Zambia. The 20-year-old is a Lusaka based Singer, Rapper, Lyricist, Songwriter, Dancer who had her debut in the Zambian music scene in 2018, with her hit single Need Your Fire, coupled up with a consistent release of hit singles like Noise, We Got the Fire and OMG.
