South African actress Connie Ferguson may have been born in South Africa, but she has close ties with Botswana having been raised in the country in Lobatse in
South-Eastern Botswana. The actress and filmmaker is married to actor Shona Ferguson was born in Gaborone, Botswana.

The powerhouse couple has been married since 2001 and whilst this may be Connie’s second marriage their union has been one that has shown critics and their fans that they are destined to be together. 

Connie was previously married to actor Neo Matsunyane between the years 1993 to 1998 and they also have a daughter together, Lesedi Matsunyane-Ferguson.   

In 2002, the couple welcomed their first and only child together Alicia Angel Ferguson. On her 18th birthday, Shona had penned an emotional post where he reflected on his miracle baby's birth. 

Shona in his post, explained that doctors had told him he would never be able to have children, but God had other plans. 
Connie and Shona are not only two of South Africa's top actors, but they have also created a successful production company Ferguson Films which produces on one of the most-watched telenovelas The Queen which airs on Dstv channel Mzansi Magic weekly. 

The couple has been married for 19 years but their spark is more than alive, and they often have taken to social media to shower each other with love.  

Shona recently visited his wife on the set of The Queen and he couldn't stop admiring the beauty that is his wife. Every time Shona posts about his family, he makes sure to add a caption that celebrates Connie. 

In a video posted on his Instagram, Shona showed what happened during his visit to the set, and what happened when he forgot to bring Ausi Connie a smoothie. 

On Connie's birthday, Shona shared an image of his wife dressed in gym wear that showed off her fabulous abs and wrote a special caption praising his queen. 

"I call her the blueprint. This is the face of consistency, the definition of strength & humility. POWER. Undisputed QUEEN of television. My rock sharp fede van toeka af. Ntlogele sane ke bolaile," shared Shona.
Connie is also never shy to show her man love on social media and they often participate in dancing activities together to have fun as a couple.
