Calling all music lovers: this is your official hot new music alert. We’ve got some fresh new tunes for you to ease those lockdown blues. These are coming from some big names. We mean both homegrown talent and internationally renowned names.

Keep an eye out for these releases.

1. Diplo, Black Coffee, and Elderbrook
DJ Black Coffee, Diplo and Elderbrook have come together to create a beautiful new song called, ‘Never Gonna Forget’. This is a powerhouse of a track and has a variety of different sounds. It includes elements of electronic music, string music and guitar harmonies. Black Coffee and Diplo have produced this tune together. That’s exciting for fans as both of them are master producers. Their beats perfectly complement Elderbrook’s evocative vocals. This is the last single from Black Coffee’s upcoming album, titled ‘Subconsciously’. This is set to release on February 5th. Anything DJ Black Coffee serves us is going to be good. We can’t wait for the entire album to come out. We’re sure it’s going to be artistic and engaging.

2. Oskido Believe, Pearl Thusi, and DJ Zinhle

Earlier, famous SA music maker, Oskido Believe shared that he was making a track with Pearl Thusi and DJ Zinhle. The song, titled Unemali, also features Focalistic and is going to hit the airwaves in a few days.
The artist and music executive posted, “It has been fun working with this talented young man,
@Focalistic and these ladies, @nokwazidlams, @PearlThusi and of course @DJZinhle. #Unemali visuals Clapper board dropping on Thursday.”

Fans are excited for the hot release. They’ve left comments such as “Can’t wait!”, “Looking forward to the visuals!”, and “Whatever you did with @Focalistic is sure to be smash hit.”

New music this season!

Looks like the new year is off to a bang when it comes to good music. If clubs were open right now, it would be quite a hectic scene. But as the lockdown has started its 3rd wave, all we can do is groove to these songs at home. We’re fine with that, too. We’ll keep looking out for more new music to share with you guys. Stay tuned.
