King Tee Dee is a boss in the entertainment industry as he is always making big moves. The artist, who recently turned 35 years old, has an upcoming album that he is yet to name. He took to Instagram and Twitter to ask his fans to help him name the upcoming album.

The musician noted that the album has been taking too much of his time, and the fans cannot wait for him to unveil it. However, King Tee Dee needs the help of his fans to name his album, and many of them flooded the comments section with name suggestions.


Some of the names his fans suggested include Water, Extravaganza, The King, Diamond Platinum, Forever King, Return of the King, Redemption of the King, among many other unique names. King Tee Dee, who is known for the hit song ‘One Love’ has not been releasing music for a while now, and fans cannot wait for his comeback hence the name suggestions such as Return of the King. However, the musician is a respected lyricist who, despite being away from the music industry, is expected to release hits.


King Tee Dee’s masterpiece production is well known as the singer has been nominated for several awards in the past. He was recently nominated for the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) for the category of Best Male Artist in Southern Africa. King Tee Dee and Sally Boss Madam are the only Namibian artists nominated for the AFRIMMA awards.


Sally Boss Madam, an Afro-fusion singer, has been nominated for the category of the Best Female Artist in Southern Africa. Sally will be competing against South Africa Amapiano artist Lady Du and Shashi, a Zimbabwean RnB artist.


After his nomination, King Tee Dee spoke out and appreciated the recognition. He added that the nomination means a lot for his journey as he has recently embarked on creating new music and several projects. The artist said that it would not be a great deal to him if he won or lost because even getting the nomination is a win as it shows his work is being recognized as a Namibian artist.

King Tee Dee has also come out to request for votes from Namibians to win the AFRIMMA awards. The artists said that Namibia is a small country, which makes the competition tougher, but if they all unite and vote, they can bring the award home. King Tee Dee faces tough competition as he is running against Cassper Nyovest from South Africa, Slap Dee from Zambia, and Jah Prayzah from Zimbabwe.


Aside from music, King Tee Dee is also an entrepreneur. He recently announced the launch of his insurance company called Mshasho Insurance. The musician said he had been developing the company for years and was glad when it was finally approved. He added that the reason he took a break from music was to ensure the business was developed, approved, and running.


King Tee Dee has placed his bet on fans to help him win the AFRIMMA awards. He has always appreciated his fans as he said his fans are the main reason he still has a music career. King Tee Dee also appreciated the power of social media because it has kept him relevant and in contact with fans who support his music.
