Suny Boy, Suzy Eises and Kaboy Kamakili at UNAM

It is no secret that good education has the power to change lives, but often times, young people spend their years in school not knowing what their goals and dreams are where their careers are concerned.

The Career Fair & Employment Expo, which is held yearly by the University of Namibia, gives students the opportunity to interact and get one-on-one advice from professionals who are already in the fields they aspire to work in. The event is aimed at steering students in the right direction and also broadening their knowledge to the various career course the university has for them to choose from.

While professionals from the many disciplines the university offers will be present on Thursday (25 July) for the expo, the organisers definitely understand that even though it is important to work hard, having a little fun ain’t never hurt anybody!

To usher in the career expo, an official opening ceremony will take place the day before - where the university has invited musicians Sunny boy, Suzy Eises and Kaboy Kamakili who will be performing at the Gym Hall, Main Campus.

The opening ceremony is at 9h00, followed by an exhibition. On Thursday, an exhibition, as well as the closing & awards ceremony will be the order of the day.
