This one is definitely for the old school music lovers everywhere who also find comfort in giving back to the needy. The Patty’s Heart Foundation will be hosting an Old School Benefit concert which will take place on the 4th of October, will be in commemoration of Aunty Patty and her legacy.

One of the big activities happening in October is the benefit concert, as this year marks the fifth year since the legend was laid to rest. Today, the Patty’s Heart Foundation is run by her daughters and Nangula Geingos. The benefit concert will remember artists that have passed on, the legends in the game and those that the new age might have forgotten.

Tickets are not sold physically, however people can earn a ticket by purchasing food items that last longer such as cooking oil, maize meal, tinned fish, beans, corned meat, flour, brown sugar at any Shoprite or Checkers stores. A great initiative indeed.

The daughters who head the foundation find it heartwarming to honor their mother's passing by doing something good for the community. What better way than uniting the community trough music.

They have completed community drives in cities such as Windhoek, Otjiwarongo and Malthoe.

Artists to perform include Gazza, The Dogg, Sunny Boy, Raphael and Pele including many others who are bound to send people back to the golden oldies!
