Michael started off as a regular working class citizen to being one of the most prominent politicians in Namibia. He is now known as the Commissar for Economic Development at the Namibia Economic Freedom Fighters (NEFF) and is making a change in our beloved country.
Michael Amushelelo was known as a Namibian forex trader who has turned into a politician. Amushelelo always gives out words of wisdom to his followers and tries to change their perspective of life.
Just like the NEFF mandate, he wants the black child to change his life and to see back communities moving forward.
In a recent post, he shared his rags to riches story of how he started out in his career.
"When I resigned from my job in 2012, it was met with a lot of criticism because it is unheard in the black community for a 21 year old to resign from his job. Most people assumed that I was bewitched because blacks can’t see any other reason why someone would just resign from their job."
He said his colleagues tried to talk him out from resigning but they failed.
"Most of colleagues tried talking me out of resigning as well as my managers, my colleagues told me that I would go suffer and that I would never amount to anything in life."
Amushe then became a businessman and opened a car wash turned shisanyama.
Amushe spoke about how people are enslaved in the workforce.
"We have so many people who are comfortable earning a salary and little do most people know that you are just paid enough not quit and enough just to survive and pay your bills. The is a famous quote that states that a salary is the bribe you are paid to forget your dreams. Your salary should be the seed money you need in order to go after your dreams, most people will never achieve their dreams on a salary."
He then motivated his followers, "This post is purely for the dreamers who have given up on their dreams to motivate them. In life people will laugh at you, they will mock you, they will ridicule you, they will insult you but you should never give up on your dreams."
Amushe has a great support system in his wife Julieta Amushelelo. She recently gushed over him in a recent post, "I do not know what I have done to deserve such a partner in my life , but i do know that I will spend the rest of my life being thankful for your presence in my life. I want to scream to the world how much I love u , and how good you have been to me, but I’m scared cause the world has always tried to destroy all that is good.
"I appreciate you Lindo , and I’ll spend forever forcing u to try new food and giving u that sloppy toppy every chance I get ( sorry ma )," she joked.
