Media personality Pombili Shilongo, has been making great strides in her career and we love to see it. The brand influencer has been scoring major campaigns recently making sure to secure that bag.

Although Pombili is in the limelight, she manages to keep her love life private and she has responded to the rumor that she is apparently Leather Mein's bae. The two have sparked romance rumors before as they are constantly spotted together.

In an interview with Weekly Wrap's host Riaza Kweyo she set the record straight and put the rumor to rest. Homegirl stated that they are not a couple and this was not the first time she heard of the rumors.

"That is not the first time I have encountered that question. Coming here I anticipated that question but I'm extremely private, definitely not. I have met Leather Mein's girlfriend. I'm well acquainted with her and him," she said.

She said because she has worked with the musician before on rebranding his career and they have often seen together people assume they are dating.

"I think that is why my career is flourishing because I'm not seeing anybody at the moment and at least for the past year. I'm not looking into anything don't flood my DMs, she added.

Shilongo also debunked rumors that she is going back to NBC stating that, "Not any time soon, at least It will always be home. I absolutely love that place, I have learned a lot and I think I would not be myself if it wasn't the broadcaster that played a tremendous role in my life," she said.

Pombili has been in the industry for 10 years now and she has been mentoring young people who want to make it in the industry.

"10 years of being in this industry, years of networking, learning and growing, what a blessing 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. 2021 will be a year of giving back and empowering our community. Young women and men get excited ...I can wait to share the exciting news... Stay woke."

This year she launched a mentorship where she was hosting masterclasses for influencing. She has also teamed up with the United Nations Population Fund in Namibia (UNFPA), and the Namibia Planned Parenthood Association (NAPPA), in a campaign to help curb the spread of abuse against women and children by ensuring life-saving gender-based violence assistance to women, girls, and person living with a disability.
