Barely a day after Eric omondi claimed that Willy paul is busy engaging in immoral activities instead of following his first calling, that is, preaching the gospel through music, new evidence proving the Comedians words has come to light.
This came after a local YouTuber, identified as Rash Nihan released screenshots of her alleged chats with the singer, where he was seen asking him to go over to his place.
“So, to cut the story short, after telling him we are not meeting, then he starts talking to me roughly like it was a must we meet. The thing was i was never going to meet him” Wrote Rash.
Willy Paul is yet to respond to these allegations, however, the Singer is not new to these kinds of controversies, a while back, Diana Marua, singer Bahati's wife, claimed that after she declined his advances, he sexually assaulted her. When she was a Syokimau resident, the incident took place at an unnamed flat.
On her YouTube page, she posted information on the incident. Willy Paul vehemently refuted the accusations and insisted that the Bahatis were behind his framing.
In another instance, Willy Paul claimed that the animosity of other DJs and Gospel musicians forced him out of the gospel music business. After he declared his intention to transition to secular music, he faced criticism. He claims that he wants to "stop tricking God" and do things the proper way, though.
Ruth Kerubo, a young woman, alleged on social media that Willy Paul had abandoned her after having an abortion.
This claim was disputed by Willy Paul. Ruth later acknowledged that she had lied despite having a son as a newborn. It is still unknown if Willy Paul is the father.
He was accused of stealing one of the gospel singer Bahati's tracks. Fans of Bahati bombarded Willy Paul with accusations and insults on social media, which he vigorously disputed.
Willy and Bahati were urged to put a stop to their conflict and pray about it during the nominations for the 10th Annual Groove Awards. The two developed a solid friendship and occasionally shared dubious photos of one another on Instagram.
The artist has, however, experienced a lot of success in his career. He took up the prize for the male video of the year and most watched video at the 2017 Pulse Music Awards.
In the same year, he also took home the prize for most-downloaded gospel artist and single. He was named the year's top male artist by the Mwafaka Awards in 2016.
Willy Paul won the Best gospel performer, Africa category of the 2016 AFRIMMA Awards. Willy Paul also won the Mwafaka Awards for the year's best collaboration in 2015 for the song Tam Tam with Size 8.
