Sharon Mundia, alias ‘This Is Ess’, is one of the most beautiful influencers in the country.

The mother of one was the talk of the country a few years ago when her boyfriend, Lonina Leteipan, proposed to her with crazy pomp and aplomb.

Quick recap:

Lonina proposed to Sharon on a chopper ride over Mt. Kenya after convincing Miss Mundia to go for a weekend getaway, telling her it would also double up as a photoshoot for her blog.

They then two got married in a ceremony that allegedly cost them millions of shillings.

But despite their lavish courtship and marriage starting on so wealthy a note, things didn't end well for them.

Their marriage was over a few months into it despite the two welcoming a beautiful baby girl. At the time there were rumours that infidelity had caused the couple to go their separate ways.

This week the travel and fashion influencer spoke on issues surrounding her personal life.

In a Q and A with fans, Sharon spoke on the issue of whether she intended to get married again. She admitted that she used to be excited about weddings but she was no longer sure about matrimony.

She said that she was able to overcome the pain of divorce with support from friends and family and reading books helped her.

“Whether you are going through divorce, separation, or breakup, I think one of the best things you could have is support from friends and family. People who have your back and show up for you physically,” she said.

“I also learnt through therapy about writing down my feelings, in form of a letter to myself. And in that letter, I remember saying, ‘It’s okay, I’ve got you, I know this is difficult but guess what, I’m not going anywhere. I am here, I love you.”

Could she foresee herself getting another child? “There are times I am like, ‘Yes, give me another kid right now,’ but at times, I am if it is just me and my little one right now, I’d be okay.”

She also addressed lesbianism and bisexuality claims, in the Q and A saying,

“I am not a lesbian but I also have to add that I believe that love is love and let people live fully and truly wholly in their queerness. I wish this country had different policies but also outside the policies, I wish that socially and culturally we were less judgemental.”
