Celebrated media personality Lilian Muli Kanene has shocked her fans after her recent revelation about her African name.
The news anchor is the second child in her family, her late father Henry Muli was an advocate of the high courts, Lilian revealed that her father wanted her to study law, and growing up she always wanted to become a lawyer. She narrated how all that changed after school and how she got into media.
Lilian Muli took to her socials to explain the meaning of her name Nzisa, the mother of two explained that her name in Kamba meant 'one who sparkles'.
"My name is Nzisa. It means "one who sparkles" in kamba. Never let anyone dull your sparkle." She bravely said. Her name might have affected her as she sparkles on her every move from career wise to her life, she is a stunner.
Lilian is among the most celebrated female news presenters in Kenya. She is known for her bubbly personality and eloquence. She is a mother of two and she was married twice even though they failed.
The celebrity news anchor dished on her past two relationships and breakups which left her having to deal with two baby daddies. Lilian famously broke from her seven-year marriage to her first husband Moses Kanene after calling him a "community husband", about his alleged philandering.
After her acrimonious 2016 divorce, Lilian quickly bagged Jared Ombongi, the wealthy owner of football club Shabana FC. They split up in 2019.
She is now a single mum and recently revealed how she copes with work and parenting.

In an interview with Cynthia Mwangi, the mother of two confessed that she always wanted to be like her late father, who was an advocate of the high court, and that made her appreciate the law.
She went on to say that juggling work and her two boys can be difficult at times. The TV anchor added that she has strived to be present in her children's lives during the previous two years, rather than relying on nannies to do all of the jobs.

"I have two nannies, I have days that I have dedicated to spending time with my sons, being a single mum is sometimes overwhelming, I love my bedroom," Muli said.
Lilian Muli is one of the most celebrated media personalities in the country. Having been in the industry for close to 20 years, Lilian has tasted both the sweetness and the sour that comes with the media and had a few words of wisdom for those hoping to rise in the industry to her level.

For starters, Lilian warned that as much as it comes with celebrity status, it can sometimes get very lonely at the top, mainly because you don't know who to trust and who not to.
Lilian further stressed that the expectations society has on people like her who are in the media are very high and sometimes one can easily go broke or even fall into a pit of debt trying to impress the masses.
