Ex-Rugby7s Coach Benjamin Ayimba is already tossing in his grave after drama erupted at his burial.

On Friday, tension levels were high at his home when drama involving one of his wives started.

This is after his fourth wife, Gloria Moraa was barred from accessing the burial proceeding in his home at Kisumu County.

In a series of videos shared online by actress Sandra Dacha who is a close friend to Moraa, Benjamin’s wife is blocked from accessing the burial proceedings with her two sons.

According to Sandra, the family of Ayimba sought the services of the police to block Moraa from accessing the proceedings.

From the video shared on Instagram, a nervous and worried Moraa is caught on camera trying to access the grounds.

Despite Ayimba having three other wives, the family chose to block Gloria probably due to the row they had when Gloria accused the late rugby coach of abandoning them.

In other videos posted on Dacha’s Instagram stories, Ayimba’s family is also seen trying to block Moraa’s sons from taking pictures next to the grave of their father.

“Picha tu. Naomba tu tupige picha dakika mbili,” Sandra is heard saying.

“Apana hakuna picha. Msipige picha,” a woman is heard telling her.

Benjamin Ayimba and Gloria Moraa

Moraa was Ayimba’s fourth and last wife before he passed on from his short illness.

The two had four children together, Achieng Marie, Ethan Omari, Otieno Banjie, and Hawi Nyakundi.

Their relationship, however, had its own share of problems because, at one point, the former Tahidi High actress accused Ayimba of abandoning his family. According to Moraa, Benjamin was not taking care of his responsibilities as a father and husband to the point where she was kicked out of their Athi River apartment over rent arrears.

The row was so bad that Moraa took Benjamin to court to have him take care of his family. Rumours quickly went around that Ayimba was broke and could not afford the amount that Moraa was asking for support.

The case, however, died down in the mid-2020 when he fell ill with Cerebral Malaria and the family ended up using all of the remaining resources to finance the medical bill for the illness.

News of Benjamin Ayimba’s death shook the country with many celebrities paying their tributes to the rugby coach.

Despite their row, Gloria Moraa expressed her devastation when she learnt of the passing of Ayimba, saying she didn't know what she'd tell their children about their daddy.

May his soul rest in peace.
