Bahati has been on a roll the past few weeks!

A few weeks ago, the mtoto wa mama hit maker was trending after it seemed that he had ditched Gospel and joined the secular music world. This was after a video emerged of him smoking and later on released one of the most viewed diss tracks in Kenya.

It doesn’t stop there, Bahati was the talk of the town for the better part of Monday after he unveiled the cover to his latest song, Take it slow, on his new album. The photo which showed women in twerking positions left many Kenyans aghast over the sudden U-turn that Bahati had taken in his music career.

Well, if you thought Bahati was done with his shenanigans, you thought wrong!

The gospel now turned secular musician has thrown the biggest shade on Kenyan travel companies, including Bonfire adventures.

On Tuesday, the Wa Nani hitmaker took to Instagram to explain that he had finally partnered with a travel company that could afford him and his wife, Diana Marua.

“FINALLY A TRAVEL COMPANY THAT CAN AFFORD US,” wrote Bahati.

From his post, we can only conclude that the Bahatis have for a long time been approached by other travel companies but they couldn’t afford their rate cards.

So how much does the couple charge to be brand representatives? We can only speculate that they charge huge amounts and other local companies could not match their asking price.

Bahati’s revelation has come alongside his big announcement on his partnership with a new travel company, Zunguka Africa Safaris as their official brand ambassadors.

“#Thebahatis have just signed a multi-million deal as the official brand ambassadors of Kenya's number #1 travel company @zunguka_africa_safaris” announced Bahati.

Bahati’s big announcement comes after the KFCB boss stripped him of support totalling 200k for his music. According to Ezekiel, KFCB would support Bahati’s music as long as he maintained clean, modest and family suitable content. However, after Bahati released his diss track, Ezekiel withdrew his support for Bahati and distanced himself.

While Ezekiel thought that his funding would be a major blow on Bahati’s career, good fortune seems to be following Bahati. Few hours after KFCB withdrew their funding, famed politician Honorable Alinur Bulle promised Bahati a cool 200K to support his album launch.

Additionally, during his album launch, Bahati was awarded another 100K by comedian Eric Omondi. The total amount going over and beyond what Ezekiel had promised him.
