A lot of celebrities graced the event ranging from; Eddy Kenzo, King Michael, Rema Namakula, Cindy Sanyu, and many more, these had come to show cause for their fellow artists.

And indeed, at the end of the day, they were able to collect about 60 million Uganda shillings in both cash and pledges.

However, people could not help but notice the absence of Big Size Bebe Cool who is considered to be one of the biggest pillars in Uganda’s music industry.

Bebe Cool in an interview explained that he could not show up for the car wash because he was also nursing a patient at the time and he could not be in two places at the same time.

“My daughter was sick and I spent the whole day in the hospital with her and it was very hard for me to be in two places at the same time,” he said.

however, Dj Michael in his reaction to Bebe Cool not showing face said, it was not right of him to snub the event given the fact he had always fronted himself as a person passionate about helping those in need.

Chameleon too didn’t show face, but it can be understood because after he lost the mayoral seat in Kampala, he went to America to see his family.

The same is for Pallaso who is right now In South Africa doing we don’t know what, but we will let you know in case it warrants us to do so.

As they say, family comes first, Bebe Cool was right to take care of his family before taking care of anybody else.
